My family has a long and rich tradition of miners, So was my grand-grandfather. One of the things which still remember me of him is his old carbide lamp that guarded him along his har work down in the mines. He passed away when I was a young boy. Missing the chance to do a portrait of him, I can only shoot a still life of his lamp. May it shine a light on him, wherever he might be now.
