The “Demons: Djinn” collection is a series of two Lithprints on old ORWO BH111 paper. The negatives were overexposed by 2 steps, one more step I added when lithing in darkroom.
The Lith process is an alternative darkroom technique. The special character of the about 35 year old photo paper from the former Eastern German VEB ORWO Filmfabrik Wolfen as well as the retro touch brought in by Foma’s Retropan are forming a dark and wonderful painting style in the alternative lith process.
I really love that paper in combination with lith printing. It adds that dream like atmosphere I enjoy so much.
